Create a new user

1. Choose “Users” tab from the main menu.

2. Then click "New user" in the symbol menu.



3. Choose “Users” tab from the main menu.

In the fields below the personalia/user

The number of input fields varies with the role. Some of the input fields are mandatory.


Username

One user may not have the same username as another user at the same school. Thus, usernames are UNIQUE and cannot be changed.

Password

You will not be able to see the user's password. To overwrite the old password, enter a new one and click Save. (Of course, users can have the same password.)

E-mail

Enter the user's email address here. Visible in multiple reports and important if you are going to use reports to assign courses via email.

Meny language

"Norwegian" is set as the default menu language in the course. In addition, several languages ​​are supported. However, Mentorkit LMS is only available in Norwegian or English.

Country

Select country. "Norway" is set as default.

Note

Free text field that is also searchable.

Reserved time

For schools / companies that have purchased a certain number of hours, it is appropriate to limit the user's access to a course. In this field, enter the number of hours the user should have access to this course.

Phone number

You must enter the user's phone number.

Accesslevel

When you create a new user, the user gets the role of user. If you want to change the user's rights, do this here. You cannot set user privileges higher than your own in admin.

E-mail

Enter the user's email address here. Visible in multiple reports and important if you are going to use reports to assign courses via email.

Expiration date

After the specified date, the user will not have access to the login.
