Commerce Overview
MentorKit LMS Pro integrates with WooCommerce so you can sell access to individual courses or groups. When a learner buys, they're automatically created as a WordPress user (if needed) and enrolled in the linked course or group.
Prerequisites
- WooCommerce must be installed and active
- The WooCommerce integration must be enabled under MentorKit LMS → Settings
- WooCommerce Accounts & Privacy settings must be configured so customers end up with an account — see Account Settings
What's covered in this section
| Article | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Account Settings | Required WooCommerce Accounts & Privacy configuration so paid learners actually get a WordPress account and access to the course |
| Paid Courses | Linking a course to a WooCommerce product, regular/sale price, and the per-course Buy now flow |
| Paid Groups | Linking a group to a WooCommerce product and selling bundled access |
| Tax Class per Course and Group | Override the WooCommerce tax class on individual courses or groups (e.g. VAT-exempt undervisning) |
How it works end-to-end
- You set a course or group to Buy now access in its editor
- LMS Pro creates (or links to) a WooCommerce product with your price and tax class
- Learners visit the course/group page and click Buy now
- Standard WooCommerce checkout runs — including any tax rates you've configured
- On payment completion, the buyer is enrolled and gains access to the SCORM content
If anything in that chain isn't working — buyers landing without access, missing accounts, wrong tax on the invoice — the corresponding article above explains what to check.
